PII is pleased to offer the 2008 Bluebook of Hourly Rates—Budgeted Hourly Rates for the Printing and Imaging Industry. These BHRs are based on data from the recent PII Wage & Benefit Survey (labor costs), surveys of manufacturers and members (equipment costs) and our local area Ratio Study (overhead costs). The rates include the direct cost of labor and equipment, as well as the indirect costs of plant, selling and administrative overhead.

IRS Lowers Standard Mileage Rates for 2009
As anticipated, the IRS has lowered the 2009 optional standard mileage rate for the use of a car to 55 cents per mile for business and to 24 cents per mile for medical or moving purposes. The rate for charitable purposes at 14 cents per mile is unchanged from 2008 and is set by law.
