IRS Lowers Standard Mileage Rates for 2010 |

As anticipated, the IRS has lowered the 2010 optional standard mileage rate for the use of a car to 50 cents per mile for business and to 16.5 cents per mile for medical or moving purposes. The rate for charitable purposes at 14 cents per mile is unchanged from 2009 and is set by law. |
